We are pleased to announce that the Reverend Philip Banks, Vicar of St Peter-ad-Vincula, Coggeshall, and Rural Dean in the Diocese of Chelmsford, is to become the Precentor of St Edmundsbury Cathedral. He will take up his post in February 2012.

Canon Martin Eastwood, who is currently Precentor, is taking up an appointment as priest-in-charge at St Agnes' Church, Kennington Park, Diocese of Southwark. His last service at St Edmundsbury Cathedral will be on Sunday 4 December.
