St Cecilia Juniors
The St Cecilia Juniors is the Cathedral’s newest choir, founded in September 2008. Consisting of girls aged between 7 and 13, the choir meets every Wednesday afternoon between 4.00 and 5.00 pm in the Lecture Room, singing a wide variety of music, both sacred and secular. Each term, they sing two services of Evensong, present a short concert, and are occasionally involved in other concerts and events, highlights of which include the Mayor's Harvest Festival Lunch at the Atheneum and the Christmas Fayre on Angel Hill. At 12, girls may join the St Cecilia Chorale. The Juniors are directed by Polly Anderson.
