Fairtrade

The Cathedral gained Fairtrade status in 2009. On the third Sunday of the month (though this occasionally changes), Fairtrade goods are on sale in the Cathedral Refectory over coffee after 10.00 a.m. Eucharist. Fairtrade tea and coffee are served in the Refectory throughout the week. The Cathedral supports Fairtrade Fortnight and holds occasional events to promote this important issue.
In Bury St Edmunds, the Just Traid Centre , a shop and café at St John’s Church, is well worth a visit.
