The Ancient Library of St James is a valuable collection of printed books dating back to the 15th century and including many theological works from the Reformation period. It incorporates some other Suffolk parish libraries and is housed in a specially adapted room over the cathedral porch. Access for scholars and interested readers is by appointment: please contact the Canon Theologian.
