An Organ Specification consists of a list of the individual stops available to the organist, together with the accessories which assist him in controlling these from the organ console. St Edmundsbury Cathedral Organ has four manuals and pedals, six divisions (or "organs"), 79 speaking stops and 80 ranks. The organ contains approximately 4,500 pipes.
