St Edmundsbury Cathedral is fortunate to have no fewer than five choirs. The Cathedral Choir of men and boys is the Cathedral's primary choir and as such sings for all of the Cathedral's main services. The Cathedral Choir is assisted by the St Edmundsbury Singers, a ladies choir; the St Cecilia Chorale, a youth choir; and the Colts Choir, a group of approximately thirty boys aged about seven to nine. From September 2008 a new choir has been formed called the St Cecilia Juniors open to girls aged 7 to 13.
