Desmond Tutu captures the meaning of Easter with his words: "Goodness is stronger than evil; love is stronger than hate; light is stronger than darkness; life is stronger than death; victory is ours through Him who loves us." You are welcome to join the Easter celebrations at St Edmundsbury Cathedral.

The ground on which St Edmundsbury Cathedral is built has been holy ground for over a thousand years. Every day of the year, Morning and Evening Prayer is said or sung and the Eucharist is celebrated. In addition, thousands of people come from all over Suffolk and beyond to worship God at special services throughout the year, which celebrate our common life and acknowledge our common concerns.
