There is a short stay car park on Angel Hill. Long stay car parking is available at Ram Meadow car park in Cotton Lane. Coaches can drop off and pick up on Angel Hill, close to the Cathedral. Coaches must then park at the Lorry Park on Rougham Hill near the A14 Bury East exit. Bury St Edmunds has a railway station with a through service evey two hours from London Liverpool Street via Ipswich. Alternatively, there is an hourly service from King's Cross, changing at Cambridge. There is a train every two hours from Peterborough, where connections are available from the Midlands and North.
