Turning from the front to the south side aisle, ahead is the Susanna window. The glass, which is contemporary with the nave, may be French, Flemish or local in origin. It tells the story from the Apocrypha of Susanna who was wrongly accused of adultery and is seen here being tried by the Elders. The other stained glass in the Cathedral is by several notable makers of the Victorian era. In the south aisle are New Testament figures and scenes and on the north, they are from the Old Testament.
