Who's Who - The Visitor Officer Sarah Friswell, the Visitor Officer, oversees the way in which the Cathedral and its story are communicated to visitors, tourists and pilgrims. She is responsible for ensuring that visitors to the Cathedral receive a warm welcome. She is the first point of contact when booking a guided tour. She also oversees the work of the Guild of St Edmund, a team of volunteer welcome stewards who greet visitors to the Cathedral. The Visitor Officer is also responsible for information literature for visitors and for publicising events. She works part time, Monday to Friday: 9.15 a.m. to 3.15 p.m. Dean |
