The Cathedral Council furthers and supports the work
of the Cathedral and reviews and advises upon the direction and oversight
of the spiritual, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical work of
the Chapter. It considers proposals submitted by the Chapter and gives
advice on them. It receives and considers the annual budget, report and
accounts of the Cathedral. It considers proposals from the Chapter to
review the Constitution and Statutes. The Council may request reports
from the Chapter on any matter concerning the Cathedral, discuss and declare
its opinion on such matters, and draw any matter to the attention of the
Bishop or the Church Commissioners. |
