Mothers' Union

The Mothers' Union is a Christian organisation, which promotes the well-being of families worldwide. This is achieved by developing prayer and spiritual growth in families; studying and reflecting on family life and marriage and its place in society; and providing members with resources for practical action to improve conditions for families, nationally and in the communities in which they live. St Edmundsbury Cathedral does not have its own branch of the Mothers' Union but members of the Cathedral Community attend the meetings of other local branches and the Cathedral hosts the annual Mothers' Union Lady Day Service in March.
