Cathedral Pilgrimage
The annual Cathedral Pilgrimage
will not take place in 2008. It usually takes
place in August and offers pilgrims the chance
to walk approx sixty miles over three to four
days, from a given place to Bury St Edmunds. All
ages are welcome to join the pilgrimage, for the
whole walk or just part. Accommodation is found
in local halls, often hosted by local church communities,
and a support team provides welcome refreshment
on the way. The pilgrims reach Bury St Edmunds
in time to come to the Cathedral's 10 o'clock
service on the Sunday morning where they are greeted
by the Cathedral Community with prayers and a
round of applause! Watch this space for news of
