Embroidery Guild The making of the tapestry of Henry VI at the Shrine of St Edmund brought together a team of 26 women who embroidered this remarkable work over a period of five years. The tapestry is now displayed on the north wall of the Cathedral's Nave. The human achievement which it represents was subsequently harnessed by the creation of an Embroidery Guild whereby members of the Cathedral Community and beyond work together to make liturgical or decorative items for the Cathedral or to repair existing pieces. |
