Shaftesbury Housing Group The Cathedral's Discovery Centre is housed in what was a kebab shop, with some rather derelict flats above. When the last tenant left (leaving the remains of his kebabs) the Cathedral worked with the Shaftesbury Housing Group to provide the Discovery Centre and some social housing above.
